Bike Week visit by local MP

The school was filled with bikes this week as we celebrated National Bike Week. All the children were invited to bring their bikes to school to have fun and to learn some new skills. We had bike maintenance from parents and Halfords, a real penny farthing to look at, road trips and lots of obstacle races to learn how to use roundabouts and junctions. The week ended with a visit from Sarah Wollaston, MP for Totnes, who loves cycling herself. She came to chat to the children about cycling and how much she enjoys it. The Totnes Times, our local newspaper wrote a story about us too.
