Staff, children and parents joined in an international project over the weekend called Fun Palaces. The idea behind the project is for local organisations to engage their local community in art and science to create a,'university of the streets' or 'laboratory of fun'. It was hugely successful with over 200 people aged 0-82 coming to the workshops put on by Park School, Sound Art radio, Keviccs school, Dartington Arts, Schumacher College and a street band called Tongues on fire. There was play dough crafts, creative leaf bugs, music, feasting , a time walk and a lot of laughter! It was great to connect to all these local organisations and we all hope to do more together in the future. We also had a great piece in the local newspaper about this weekend.
