National Human Scale Research Project

action research 2013 007-w800-h600Park School is part of a National Research Project looking at Human Scale issues in schools. There are about 10 schools involved. Some are primary and some are rather large secondary schools. The objective of the research is to form a national footprint for people to really understand what Human Scale means with the idea of publishing a book and changing policies at government level not only in schools but in hospitals and prisons too. It is a 3 year project and is in its initial stages of working out how each school will work with another and be helped by consultants and facilitators. It is tremendously exciting and Park School is very proud to have been chosen from a high number of schools to take part. Last week 2 teachers went on a 2 day conference to meet the other schools and  discuss the next stage.
