The children had a fun time creating rainbows recently. Not from water and sunlight or from prisms as you may expect but from delicious fruit and vegetables. They learnt how to cut it carefully and arrange it on their plates into beautiful rainbows. They also had lots of sample tastes! Their favourite was the purple cabbage which turned their tongues purple! They were also able to discuss food miles and the positive effects of biodiversity and organic farming. Hopefully their 5 a day will go up to at least 7 a day now.
