Volunteering

We are always open to requests from people who want to volunteer to work with us. This is an excellent opportunity for educators to learn about child-centred, human-scale education and to get inspiration to take forward into their own work with children in other settings. Ideally, when people are doing volunteering placements, we ask for a commitment for a period of time so that there is an opportunity for volunteers to be a part of the school community and for the children to really get to know the volunteer. Relationships are a vital part of our ethos here at Park School.

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children. All applicants, including volunteers, must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to any post, including checks with previous employers and a DBS check.
