Weekly Meeting - Democratic Circle

A weekly school meeting provides a forum for all children and staff to raise matters that are important to them and the community. It is a forum to give our children a formal voice in their community. Anybody can raise a matter for debate.

Human Scale can mean small, but more than anything it means respect. We respect children as individuals who’s needs are as important as an adult’s. They have a right to a school environment and experience that is tailored to their interests, needs and aspirations, rather than to a pre-defined educational outcome.
